Employers that help pay loans (public interest/gov't)
Looking for info on employers that are known to help PI and gov't lawyers pay off student loans. Thanks

Outside of the military, the only help you well get will be either from 1) your school's loan repayment program, if any and 2) the federal public service loan forgiveness, which forgives the balance on your loan after 10 years of qualifying employment and income-contingent repayment.

Yes, yes I'm well aware of PSLF and will be using that as well along with IBR. I've been looking at schools that help pay as well. Just would be nice to have info on employers that might offer funds as well. I think I've heard of some in the DOJ and with public defenders. Also, it seems like some states will help with their own plans.

I was under impression some federal government agencies pay up to 10k a year for 6 years toward your loans. I know there aren't many of these programs, but someone in my career office told me this.
