Negotiating with Tulane

I recently had someone tell me that Tulane does not negotiate scholarships. However, without anything officially listed on the website, I'm going to go ahead and shoot them an email asking for a little bit more. Does anyone have any stories or experience negotiating scholarships with Tulane?

I really wish Tulane negotiated. It does say on their website all scholarship offers are final however.
