Which schollys to mention?

Post by ThreeRivers » Wed Feb 08, 2012 12:33 pm

I'm currently waiting on BU (ranked 22) to offer me some type of scholarship

2 relatively peer schools offered me 1/2 scholly
Minnesota (ranked 20)- COA after scholly 37 k
Washington & Lee (ranked 30) COA after scholly 42 k

Other schollys:
WF (39) COA after scholly $35 k
Seton Hall (61) COA after scholly $34 k
Temple (61) COA after scholly $37 k
Pitt (71)) COA after scholly $34 k

If I could get BU down to around 40 k COA I'd probably attend there....

Should I:
1. Just mention Minnesota (higher than W&L / lower COA)

2. Mention Minn / W&L (both decent schollys / peer schools)

3. Mention more of the schools (worried mentioning 6 schools, all the way down to one ranked 71 would be a little much)

I'd mention the top 2 or 3. BU won't be pursuaded much by offers from a school a full tier lower.

Do you think it'd be worth mentioning WF or just stick with Minn / W&L?
