How to best go about negotiating $$

I've searched past forums and haven't really found direct answers to these questions. I have been accepted to several schools (all within the same general range) and am trying to negotiate money for the school that I know I will attend. For those of you who have had success in the past, who did yuu email/snail mail? Also, did you list the other schools that you were accepted to and how much aid you received?
