It may be intrusive, but you want to be eligible for financial aid from this school you'll have to answer their questions. If you don't, then don't.

What's hard about this? They can put whatever restrictions they like on their own financial aid. You're not entitled to cash bro.

That's a really bad idea. If you're not comfortable sharing your credit history with them, that's perfectly valid. Just to expect any aid from them. Calling to dispute this will not go in your favor.
