When to complete FAFSA/Needs Access

Hey everyone! I am applying to law schools this fall (for the 2012-2013 year) and am wondering when would I complete my FAFSA and Need Access forms? Is this something I can complete after receiving a decision? Will I even receive a decision if these applications are not filled out? I intend on applying the first day I am able to submit my applications which is September 15th.

This financial aid stuff always confuses me. :x

Don't fill it out till January. But get it in early.
