I would imagine that most people who are married with children haven't lived without an income in the recent past. Add in the additional complicating factors of moving to a new area and starting school and it is not hard to imagine that most people have no idea how much money they will really need for the next 6-12 months.

School related expenses, in my mind, are any expenses necessary for you to go to school. I'd think that if you had no ride, or place to stay, or if the lack of a vacation was making you catatonic, then yeah uh....yeah.
