What happens if you withdraw right before the semester?
If I get off the waitlist at a school, and don't attend a school I've already taken out student loans for - what happens? Can the loans be returned or do I eat a semester of $?

Assuming that you still need the loans at the school you decide to attend, the loans can just be transferred. If for some reason, you don't need the loans at the other school...then they can be canceled. Just make sure they are canceled before they are disbursed or you will have to return them + interest.
