Sorry if this is a common question, I couldn't find anything on it.
If I tried to get a scholarship matched from a school and was turned down, is it kosher to ask again telling them I would accept for sure if offered? Put another way, is it frowned upon to ask again with a different/stronger approach after I was turned down once already?
Thanks for any input.

Re: Second Chance Negotiation
Chances are that if they turned you down, they simply don't have the money to give you. Every school that I have asked has increased my offer except for U of A. They said they were already over budget for scholarships.

Has anything changed since the last time you asked? New acceptances, LSAT, scholarships elsewhere, etc.?

Re: Second Chance Negotiation
I doubt they don't have any money to give. I don't know how much, but I know they sent out the same form email to a bunch of people so I wonder if I wasn't given a fair shake. Nothing has really changed with me since I asked. My new angle was that I really need a little bit of extra money to make financial sense to attend. I just didn't want to anger anyone by being a pest.

Re: Second Chance Negotiation
I asked William & Mary twice, but only because after my first request the email denial specifically said that they would revisit my request again in the future. After several months and with higher scholarship offers I broached the subject again. They turned me down again, but they didn't seem bothered by my asking. Finances are a big issue. Asking twice isn't bad, beyond that could begin to become a problem.
