NYU FinAid Appeal Decisions to be Released Today or Monday Forum

I just called NYU asking them to expedite their consideration of my financial aid appeal because I have a scholarship response deadline approaching at another school. The Financial Aid Office told me that I would be fine because they are releasing their appeal decisions perhaps by this evening and definitely by the end of next Monday.

Good luck everyone...I'm not holding my breath seeing as I started with $0 in aid!

hmm.. i just sent in my appeal yesterday, so i wonder if that will be done too. by next monday do you mean three days from now, or ten days from now?

Appealed based on a better offer at Duke. Just heard back, they called my bluff. Probably send in the deposit later today.

i appealed based on being a toll finalist; they raised my offer 15k to 45

how do you do a formal appeal? I think I read somewhere that there is an appeal tab on the FAAPS thing, but I don't see it.

i think you have to informally email them to appeal first then they make the tab visible for you
