When to quit job?

I work a job I hate and want to be quitting it as soon as possible. Would like to move to wherever I end up attending in July I think. I had a full ride in UG, so I've never dealt with loans before, and I'm wondering how/when you get the money. Do I have to wait for the first day of class? Can I get it a month or two before classes start?

Loans are dispersed the 1st day of classes, if you have savings you can live off those till then...I'm in the same boat but I'm sticking it out at my job until the end of July. As much as I'd love to walk out tomorrow my financial situation doesn't allow it! You could also find a temp job where you're going to school, waiting tables, coaching t-ball etc so you can quit the job you hate now
