URM 161/3.7 Fordham-scholarship? Forum

Hello everyone,

I was accepted to Fordham (full-time) and have not received any scholarship offer yet.
I'm AA with 161/3.7 & great softs.

Questions

1. Should I expect a scholly offer? I am pretty sure my financial situation qualifies me for a need-based scholly. Do i qualify for a merit scholly?

2. If i receive no scholly, what is the best approach to negotiate for some aid?

Any input, especially from URM's who were in a similar position, will be greatly appreciated.

I am URM/161/3.5...I got 5K a year...

Did they offer the 5k or did you request it? If it was offered to you, how long after your acceptance email? Thank you for commenting

Fordham has a notoriously limited scholarship fund.

I'm 3.2/161; and I got a $10,000 scholarship. I applied in November, and was accepted Early January, I don't think I heard about the scholarship until the beginning of this month; I believe. It caught me by surprise.
