Need based aid question Forum

I received a need based grant of $13,000. I disclosed that I have $10k in savings but no outside help on my fafsa. I am considering living with my parents to cut down on loans, but I wonder if it will raise a red flag in my need based aid if I do. I would only take out the max in stafford loans and not the 20k they gave me in gradplus. Would they investigate why I don't need as much money as they offered me if it's that substantial?
