Will Notre Dame match UNC? Forum

So I thought my cycle was over, as I have a 75% scholarship at UNC, I was feeling pretty good. Now I just got into Notre Dame, which I really like the"idea" of, as they are probably the most "national" school outside the T14. You think there is any chance they match my scholarship at UNC?

I'm not too sure if ND considers UNC their peer.

UNC's tuition is much lower than ND's as well, so they may not see it as a direct comparison to be made. It's worth a shot though! If you don't do it or if ND doesn't go for it, you're still in a great place (and congrats on the UNC scholarship, btw).

I gave it a shot. She replied and basically said, when people withdraw more money should free up and she will bring up the idea of giving me more money to the scholarship committee. I just hope this gets done soon, I have to put a deposit down by the 15th. Is it wise/ unusual to put down 2 deposits?
