Spend some extra money and apply to schools where your numbers fall in the 75% percentile and above (not only "matches"). Wait and see what offers you get. Good luck!

Re: Top full ride w/ my numbers
I'm not sure about the full ride. I know this doesn't really help, but you would've been competitive for GW's ED-tied full ride. Some schools offer stipends, but there's really no rhyme or reason to where a school falls in the ranking that it does so I think. Also, stafford loans cover up to $20,500 a year, and then GradPLUS loans would cover a balance (up to estimated cost of attendance) if that wasn't enough.admisionquestion wrote:I have 170 and 3.8. What are some topish schools that might offer me a ride? Also do amy schools offer living stipends? Do loans provide for living expenses normally?

Virtually guaranteed full ride at wustl, with good chances at higher ranked schools, I think.

Try Illinois, GW, WUSTL, Minnesota, and some other 20-30 schools...
