When requesting fee waivers from specific schools, I read on this site you could just send them a short email requesting one. My question is, in the parts to fill in under LSAT score, should you put in all your lsat scores, or just your highest one? Thanks
Hello,
I have a quick question – I was wondering if School X offered merit-based application fee waivers, and if I would qualify for one. My information is:
LSDAS GPA: x.xx
LSAT SCORE: xxx
LSAC ACCOUNT NUMBER: Lxxxxxxxxx
Thank you for your time,
Hopeful Law Student

Re: Requesting Fee Waivers
FWIW.. I was able to acquire several fee waivers by simply explaining to each school that the "law school application process is very costly and I may not be able to afford applying to all the schools I am interested in without the assistance of a fee waiver." (Something along those lines...) I wrote up a generic email and sent it to about 20 schools or so and I would say my success rate was about 80-85%. Might be worth a try as you really have nothing to lose... GL
edit: I did not even mention my LSAT; just included my account number at the end of the emails...

I used this -
Dear Office of Admissions -
I will be applying to law school for the entering class of 2010 and would like to be considered for a merit-based fee waiver. I am especially interested in XYZ University and would greatly appreciate any financial assistance you could provide. To assist with this process, I have included my information below. Thank you for your time and consideration.
Sincerely,

I had very good success. It seems as if the only people who don't give them out are state schools. A few said they save them only for in-state students.
