I seem to recall reading that stafford/grad plus can be processed and funds sent to your school in 3 days. Is that true? The reason why I ask is because I'm riding out a WL and if I get pulled off fully intend on going, currently though I've obviously put down my deposits at a school but haven't yet accepted Stafford or gone through the process of applying for Grad Plus.
I'd ideally like to recieve the excess as early as possible and I'm worried if I get pulled off the WL late or wait too long to get it going at the current school that me getting the excess back will be delayed.

Re: Last chance to take out loans
I have a similar concern.
I'm also riding out a few waitlists, and want to know generally how long this process takes, so I know how long I can sit on the waitlist effectively...
Also, is it possible to apply for this loan, and then change schools if I get in off the waitlist?
