Loan Forgiveness Forum

I have been trying to find some answers about the loan forgiveness program and haven't found anything that definitively answers my questions, so hopefully someone on TLS can answer these.

1)Does and public interest/government position count for loan forgiveness? Is there any cap on the salary earned or is this done on a case by case basis, based on several factors?
2)Are students taking out loans between 2010-2013 eligible? (I could almost swear I saw something saying that there was some type of time restriction on the date loans are taken out)
3)If one leaves qualifying employment for a year or two and returns, are loans still forgiven after the 10 years of public service work are completed, not including the time spent away?
