Appealing scholarships - is it ok to ask more than once? Forum

Hi all,

I was awarded a merit grant at one school for $48k; I appealed and they increased it to $54k. I was hoping for more. Has anyone gone more than one round in the scholarship appeal process? Or is that totally improper? I'm grateful for the money, but am stretched rather tightly as is!

Seems a little much, but I don't see the harm. They're not going to take the scholly back and the financial ppl won't be teaching your classes, so go for it.

Do you have any other offers to compare it against? When negotiating, it helps to have at least a little leverage on your side. If not, the worst they can say is no.
