I'm not applying until next cycle, but I have a very good shot at HYS and need to figure how much this is all going to cost me. So if anyone has some need-based aid numbers -- reasonable expectations, guesses, their own aid packages - they wouldn't mind sharing, I'd love to hear them. I've done a little digging on the sites, but it is hard to know how things end up looking when you actually go through the assessment. If you want to keep it private, a PM would be great.
Here is my situation:
- International applicant who has been living in the US with little income
- 30+
- Not married
- For loans, I can probably secure an American co-signer if in dire need
Can I be reasonably confident that I will get some need based aid, given I am over the age limit for family contributions AND poor?
p.s. My life isn't as sad as it appears from the above
