Homeowners - Need Access
Are you including your home in your estimated assets as of Sep 1 2010? Obviously, I will still have my home but I am not sure it qualifies as an "other investment." Also, the value of your home is asked for in a separate prompt.

ahh.. I knew someone had to be in a similar situation.. I decided not to include it as well given the language of the application. Thanks

No, you don't include home here. As you say, it asks for it somewhere else. I filled this out last year (I have some real estate) so I'm pretty sure (though this is not legal advice 
Just FYI: some schools will take all of these extra estimated assets and none of your home. So now is a good time to take that 40K you have hidden under the mattress and go buy a house.
