FAFSA Question

Post by clint4law » Thu Jan 28, 2010 1:50 pm

I need to have my FAFSA submitted by the end of Feb. It's unlikely I'll have my 2009 figures done by then. Is it possible to submit FAFSA based on 08 figures?
Thanks

Yes you can submit based on 2008 income tax figures, and just file a correction once you finish your 2009 taxes.

Since we're on questions about FAFSA, my income reported on my 2009 taxes won't be anything like what I actually will be making when I attend law school. Can you go back and change your information if there are changes after it's filed?

Yes, you can. I called them the other day about this. They're really nice- worth calling if you've got questions.
