Kids + FAFSA = need-based financial aid?

Would having two young children have a significant impact on need-based financial aid?

Need-based aid is determined by your EFC...do you have that yet? Your dependents would be taken into account on the FAFSA, so no one can really answer you until you find out what your EFC is.
