Calculating loan repayment and total amount owed
I am curious as to how the interest on student loans accrues long-term and if there is an easy way to calculate this.
This might seem like a silly question, but since interest is constantly accruing while you are making the payment it seems like it is a tricky (or at least really time-consuming) calculation to make. Is there any relatively simple way to calculate this, or some online calculator useful for such purposes?

You can use formulas inside excel.
