Ok, so I've received my first two scholarships and they were both for 50% tuition. I assume these are both merit based awards as I have not submitted my FAFSA since I am waiting on my W2's from last year. After I submit my FAFSA am I further eligible for grants that I do not have to pay back? I earned about $15K in 2009.
Or is everything from this point on need to be covered by Stafford and GradPlus loans?

You can get need-based grants from schools, yes.*
*Depends on the school, however.
