$10,000 loan for international student, no US co-signer?

Hi guys,
I am an international student currently in law school in the US. I am trying to find somewhere that will offer me a relatively small (circa $10,000) loan, as an international student, with no US co-signer... and also no collateral. I don't mind if there is a high interest rate, as it's not a huge amount of money. Prior to the economic downturn I believe there were a few options, but everywhere is so risk-averse when it comes to lending now, I can't seem to find anything. Any ideas? Thanks in advance.
