Retaking not really an option. Currently living in Texas and thinking about schools like UH/SMU/Baylor... What other schools nationwide should I be looking out with a decent chance of getting in? Didn't really find many similar stats on LSN

Why? It's hard to come up with scenarios where retaking really isn't an option, and in your case it could be transformative for your admissions cycle and your law school career.

Looking nationwide doesn't really make sense. The schools you can get admitted to are all going to place regionally, and you're likely to struggle to find work somewhere you don't have ties.

What are your goals? What sort of lawyer do you want to be? To where do you have connections? Where would you be happy to work?

WUSTL is probably an option. Money there would be good but not guaranteed and you would still underperforming compared to your potential. The low 160s would give you a shot at UT Austin but you'd likely also get bites from the T-14 with $$$.

Honestly man I'm about to start a full time job and don't see how I would be able to dedicate more time.. I studied full time since January and honestly I'm tired lol. I looked on the 7sage predictor (not sure how credible it is) and I have a 8% chance at WUSTL but i'm gonna take your advice! As for career goals I have not narrowed that down just yet.

I'd offer sympathy, but I studied longer while raising a kid and working to get the score I needed for the school I wanted. I get it that it's difficult.

You don't have many posts so I'd question whether you're studying smartly, or just studying hard? Seriously I'd say delay a year and work on the LSAT using the guides and support available here. Master logic games by practicing every day - depending on your score on that section, that learnable section alone could get you halfway there.

You should apply to Howard if you want to open yourself to DC and NY. Maybe New York Law School, Fordham
