I've always wanted to go to law school. The reason I posted this is that I wanted to get a chance me. So here are my stats:
3.85 GPA - Ivy(History Major)
171 LSAT
Softs:
Research all four years
Two summers at a thinktank
One summer at a consulting firm
Very involved in the political scene/activism(two separate leadership positions)
Active Writer (Leadership Position)
TA a class
Volunteer(50+ hours)
I am also either planning on pursuing a 3-year Ph.D. or spending three years at the consulting firm.
Schools I'm applying to:
-Stanford
-Yale (#1 for me because of academic bend and good placement for academia)
-Harvard
-Chicago
-Columbia
My main question is: What are my chances at these schools and will my admission results for yale be different/be affected if I choose the consulting route instead of the Ph.D.?
Thanks so much!
