Could someone here read my PS and my why x statements? I would really like some feedback from potential applicants?

How is everyone feeling about the cycle so far as the end of the year comes up?
A few schools might still have admit waves, so fingers crossed for anyone waiting!

I’ve heard back from half of my schools. I have one, maybe two options I’m extremely happy with, but still waiting to see what’s left. Hoping for more good news over the next month or so!andysimbi wrote:How is everyone feeling about the cycle so far as the end of the year comes up?

I'm feeling good. I wish I would've submitted earlier than mid-November, but I've made peace with the way things turned out. An interview with Columbia and Acceptance from Michigan today was lit!!! PT Acceptance from Duke a few weeks back had me pretty happy too. Wishing all of you the best as you wait. I'm sure the new year will bring much more good news for all of us.andysimbi wrote:How is everyone feeling about the cycle so far as the end of the year comes up?

I haven’t given up hope, but honestly a little disappointed because I was hoping to hear back from some places before Christmas, but nothing so far. Not even interview requests.andysimbi wrote:How is everyone feeling about the cycle so far as the end of the year comes up?

Re: URM 2017-2018 Cycle Thread
I finally got an admit. I only have 3 apps out and I don't anticipate putting out more anyhow. But I was getting the angst.
Just happy to feel a little validated and secure in my safety. So 1/3 thus far!

Congrats on Michigan and Duke! I've been waiting on Michigan. They're one of my top choices. I applied on November 16th. When did you apply/go complete?P55 wrote:I'm feeling good. I'm feeling cautiously optimistic. Acceptances from Duke and UCLA. I also interviewed with Northwestern and Columbia. I applied in mid-November.andysimbi wrote:How is everyone feeling about the cycle so far as the end of the year comes up?

Only heard from GTown so far and I'm getting pretty nervous about my cycle. Applied end of Oct/start of Nov.

Very pleased and surprised with my cycle, 6/6 so far!
