Sorry to post so many times, but when you all updated your application, did it show that the app was updated?
Even though I updated mine, it always shows the original date that I opened the application as my last update. So when I click, "Print Application" it still has info that is not updated.
I remember during my interview, when I mentioned what school I chose, Van Ann said, "Really?" and looked puzzled and started sifting through and looking over some papers so I'm over here like...whattt??

if you go back and look at your application and the information is saved i think that means its updated, if that makes sense.smilingorch wrote:Sorry to post so many times, but when you all updated your application, did it show that the app was updated?

Weird.. I logged in and the first link that takes you to your school choice is there, but the drop down list of schools/status (admitted, enrolled, wait listed, etc) is gone. Maybe it has to do with the deposit deadline on the site being April 26? I was gonna update with a new deposit picture but can't

fb count is up to 84 now, though that includes ~4 duplicates/non-admits
So there might be 5-15 spots remaining

Looks like my chances are small at this point. Thought I had a couple of good interviews too. Oh well, looks like my summer will include endless amounts of netflix binging! Congrats to everyone and enjoy the program!

Are we in the same group? Because I am looking at ~50 members right now. I could also be missing something.hammy393 wrote:fb count is up to 84 now, though that includes ~4 duplicates/non-admits

Re: 2016-2017 SEO Corporate Law Applicants (Summer 2017)
At this point the FB group count seems more confusing than it does informative. It makes sense that a late interview/deposit would = a late acceptance (or rejection). If they're sending out dings I don't understand why we wouldn't have heard yet if we weren't being strongly considered.
I personally, expressed strong interest in a tiny market and made it very clear that I would prefer to be place in NY to not being placed at al.
This is a complete and total rationalization, but I could see why they would want to wait for the deposit deadline to make final placements. (Full disclosure, I checked my email three times while writing this.)

I personally know like 3 or 4 people who rejected the offer so don't lose hope just yet.

My rationalization is that they're going in alphabetical order! And maybe I'll be one of the final calls, or final dings!ahendrix3 wrote:At this point the FB group count seems more confusing than it does informative. Fingers crossed, Prayers up!us3rnam3 wrote:From my constant lurking on this thread, it doesn't appear that anyone under a t13 has been accepted this year... Infrequent poster here, but I've learned a lot from the URM section of TLS, peeping y'all's experiences.
I'm wondering if anyone who's heard good news from SEO uploaded a deposit to a T25? Any non-T13 acceptances yet? I'm on several WLs at T13 schools (and b/t T13 - T25 range) and have attractive offers at two T25s. It seems like SEO firms really care about school ranking, from what I've been reading on here. Any feedback is much appreciated.
And again congrats URM fam! Don't forget to take in your successes and the results of your hard work!

Congrats on GULC! I hear their deposit amount is like a small fortune lolchasima wrote:I sent in a deposit from Georgetown and was accepted. Hey all,
For anyone doing SEO in Washington, DC, I've heard that Washington Intern Student Housing provides pretty reasonably priced housing

So can we expect firm placement tomorrow? Also did anyone get any info about salary when Van Ann called you or is it totally firm dependent?
