Hi,
I intend to apply once my December LSAT scores are back. I have a couple of questions and would really appreciate any help.
First of all, I got a 162 last time I took it and finished with a 3.2. Not great scores but what are the top schools you think I still have a shot at? I am scoring around 165 on diagnostics, are 3 points that big of a difference?
I was born and raised in Mexico until I came to the US for high school and college. Am I considered URM?
Also, as an international student, what can I do for summer internships? For undergrad, I couldn't work unless I had CPT, and that can only happen if work is required for a class. Any international students have experience on this? I just don't want to waste my two summers because I am not allowed to work at all (I don't really care if it's unpaid, but I want the experience).
Thanks!

Re: Please help!
I'm going to respond this with the assumption that you're categorized as URM. I had your GPA and a 165 LSAT score and got into UVA so...I wouldn't count yourself out. Don't be afraid to just send some out to the T20 and see what happens.

You can apply for OPT (not CPT) and work part time during school and full time during summer. You have to have an F1 visa and have been enrolled in school for a year before you start working.
