The worst part about it was finally getting A rejection made me paranoid that I'd get more rejections from places I actually wanted to go. I wasn't even gonna apply to Cornell at first, then I said "Can I really turn down those types of employment opportunities with my stats?" and applied lol
Seriously, Cornell has really gotten on my nerves this cycle.
Yup. Felt the "desperate" vibe when I was looking at UG there and now... fam, we all know you're barely an ivy. Stop repeating that fact over and over and over and...
Everyone I know that's familiar with Ithaca told me it's good I got rejected because I would've hated it there, which makes me feel even better lol
I had kind of convinced myself that Ithaca was cool and that it would be nice to be a bit isolated during law school. But now I'm like, I don't want to be that isolated.
I've been told I wouldn't like the community or the cold lol. I'm not into being isolated though. I actually have a theory that I find small towns depressing.

Yup they are. I'm probably going to be in LA because there is so much culture and life there. Been talking to a bunch of USC students as well. On Monday I'm going to meet with one of the students and he is going to inform me on the school and give me some tips.

This. At least I'm in a better place now than UG. I got a rejection from a safety school early on, panicked, and applied to like 10 more schools.

Yeahh I withdrew my Illinois app which I had because I thought it would be my only chance at a full ride and I needed that balance. I was wrong so...

Also they were taking even longer than U Chicago to start reading me so no skin off my nose. Although I wish I had those thirty bucks back.

Anyone get looked at differently after getting into top schools? I told a few classmates and regular shoppers at work how I got into USC for Law and they all jerked their heads and their eyes opened wide in shock. I didn't think people thought it was such a big deal what school you go to. Many people have started looking at me more favorably. So much fake love.

Nope. But I also don't have friends here since I'm only here temporarily and everyone thinks the University of Wyoming has an excellent law school so.... there's that.

Especially the females. When they hear "Oh you are going to law school? Wow you are trying to go to Texas?"
