Chances
160, 3.76, AA Male, Captain of a Division 1 football program. Personal statement about overcoming a potential career ending concussion to become captain of the team. Received a number of academic and athletic awards. I've applied to NYU, Penn, Berk, Georgetown, UCLA, Boston, & Washington. Any other suggestions on where to apply or what my chances are ?

Re: Chances
Greetings!
The crystal ball says:
1. DI Athlete and captain at that is a good soft.
2. AA Male is the mother of all "softs"
3. Your GPA is very good, esp. as a football player at a DI program (when did you ever find time to study)
4. A 160 LSAT isn't shutting you out of the t14, but you should strongly consider a retake.
NYU: Good shot (70%), try for AnBryce/RTK otherwise you still might get some good $
Penn: If you wrote a good Why Penn, 55%. Not much $
Berkeley: Hard to say, they are a little bit of a black box. If you have compelling reasons for wanting them and wrote about them in your app, then your chances are better. Not much $
Georgetown: Good shot here too. Not much $
UCLA: Not feeling great about your shot here.
Boston: Good shot and good money coming.
Washington: Good shot and these guys almost print money.
NB: You have a very eclectic list of schools here. Expand your net and apply to the entire T-14 save YS, but if you don't mind risk, go ahead and apply there too. You're going to get some good results, but as I said earlier, retake the LSAT. If you can get 165, your options in terms of schools and money will really open up.
Good luck!

Re: Chances
You don't mention Temple here, but that should certainly be on your list if you're ok with Philly; you'd get $$$ easily. Be very careful with UCLA and Boston for Philly (I know you say you're flexible). UCLA for New York is also risky; looks like only 3% of their grads went to NY. I didn't look up Washington, but it's probably similar if not worse. A lot of that is self-selection, but given where their network is, I doubt there is a ton of support in helping their students get to NY. Boston is better for NY, but I have a suspicion that it's top of the class that goes to NY and that's not guaranteed for anyone.

I'm guessing Washington, UCLA and Boston gave you fee waivers?
You have a shot at all the schools you list, stay hopeful and wait. While you wait though, think about how much money you're likely to get from these schools. Run your number through mylsn.info and see the kind of $ people are getting. Looks like $-$$. Closer to the $ side of things. Are you in a position to retake in June? Could net you more money, especially if you're willing to wait a year.

OP, first, like the previous poster retake if you can that way you can be a little more comfortable with money etc. Otherwise BLANKET the T-14 minus YS. Your numbers are definitely competitive for the T-14, yes a couple of LSAT points would be helpful but if you're applying anyway just to see what happens then hit the whole T-14 plus some in the 20. Your numbers are good for AA male. I have AA friends getting into UVA, Mich, Duke with scholarships with those numbers for a fact. And you have a shot at the T-6 because GPA is solid. Also throw one at Harvard you never know, they like background stories so if you package it right you aren't out of the running there either. I guess the only thing against you is that it's getting late in the cycle
