I took about two years off after my first terrible semester at undergrad (hence the UGPA), but essentially still K-JD, as my work experience was relatively unrelated and menial.
UGPA: 3.2 with upward trend (1.0 semester from my first academic institution)
Major: Poli Sci
LSAT: 164 (first take, with highest PT being 167)
URM: Puerto Rican
Diversity: Gay male
Softs: Scholar at v10-firm-sponsored pre-law program, and fellow at a capitol hill non-profit w/ hill internship experience. 1-year coordinator for student LGBT org, 2-year captain of the mock trial team, 2-year coordinator (though de facto Prez) for both an honor's club, and a college chapter of a humanitarian org (heavy on volunteer work). Studied abroad in Europe, honored at a various conferences, have a couple awards.
I am planning on retaking in October, but wonder if I should give this cycle a shot. I'm hopeful for something t20, but the $$$ offer is really the ultimate deciding factor. Strong NYC regionals are also in play (aka Fordham), though I'm not counting on a nice fin. aid. package. Numbers on mylsn are scattered.
ED at NU would be a dream come true, as it seems like the potential best offer (rank vs. $).
Any number twins? Projections? Should I apply?
Thanks!
