boost hierarchy

Post by dontrogerthat » Tue Jul 07, 2015 8:58 pm

Most people say that the only noticeable boosts for URM's are for AA, MA, PR, and NA.

What is the general consensus of boosts? I think it's obvious that AA get the most, but then who would you say gets the next biggest boost?

Black female
Black male
Ma/PR female
Ma/PR male

IMO... I don't know if there are any other groups that get a "boost."

Wow, I never realized just how low. Of the 42,841 LSN apps I have records of, only 169 identified themselves as "na", some form of "*native*", or some form of "*am*ind*". That 0.4%.

Aren't black male applicants fewer (and lower scoring) than black female applicants? I would think those factors would bump black males above females.

I've read multiple times here that AA males are a bit rarer than females, and thus more sought after
