Good morning TLS,
I was wondering if somebody knows. I was born in Russia, moved to America 5 years ago. Just got American citizenship.
I heard that being a citizen of another country helps with application process. Is that true? I also have a degree in law from Russia as well.
I have a Russian and American Citizenship. Am I URM? Forum

Welcome to your new country, you're probably looking to get an LLM then yes? You're probably unique, but not a URM.Sanehka1803 wrote:Am I URM

Ok. But does having another citizenship help? I heard some people say that it is one of the benefits in applying

Being born and raised in Russia but being able to speak and write English as well as Russian will most certainly help you. To what extent will vary between schools. Choosing to gain American citizenship will also help you (and I applaud you for that), but again that will vary on the schools you apply to.
