URM schools, so. cal?

Post by tangelo » Tue Mar 11, 2014 1:18 pm

Hey guys, Is there a breakdown anywhere that shows what schools in Southern California lean toward helping URM more than others? I mean, what schools in So. Cal are known for giving more $ to URM over others? Or does this not exist?

Personal Anecdote: Accepted off waitlist at UCLA, no mention of $$$ vs. Offered 40k a year at USC about a month after I submitted my app. Further, UCLA is catching shade for having a particularly subversive anti-URM culture. Additionally, a Bear is a terrible mascot, especially if you can't even call it a bear.
