Hello, all. I haven't posted in a while, but I'm retaking in june.
I'm 23
Male
AA
No stand out softs unless working in Mental health Court and being a Probation Officer count.
My schools that I want to go to are- Emory, Cornell, NorthWestern, FSU(big if, I don't want to stay in Florida), UCLA.
What score should I be shooting for on the LSAT outside of the obvious 180, and are there any other schools you all think I should send apps to?

Everyone is going to tell you to retake man. Your softs are probably as good as mine, so a 164 can probably get you into cornell. Just go for the retake!

You can do it. I have faith in you good sir. Give MLSAT prep books a try if you've got some extra money. My score has improved almost 5 pts on average since using the bad boys for a couple months.
I'd apply to Cornell for sure.

Thanks for the replies. I'm definitely retaking in June and shooting for a 168-170. Big jump, but I believe I can do it. I do have the Manhattan books, so I've been working with those and just from the first two chapters I already feel more comfortable with logical reasoning.

Good luck, man. I've heard great things about the Manhattan books, although I can personally vouch for the PowerScore books. If you score mid- to high-160s, you should be good to go for Cornell.toshiroh wrote:Thanks for the replies. I'm definitely retaking in June and shooting for a 168-170. Thank you. Hopefully I can raise my score enough. I want Cornell so bad haha, but I'll settle for UCLA if I have to.
