Oct or Dec?

Post by gurlja18 » Sat Sep 29, 2012 4:29 pm

hi everyone.
the is my first post on tls. im currently registered to take the oct lsat in a week. ive been stdying for the last 2months but ive never taken a diagnostic or full timed test (only sections). anyways, i took one today and scored a 153  My goal is to get into a T-20 school and I have pretty avg. GPA (3.41) and I'm an AA female so i knw my LSAT score has to be pretty good for me to have a shot. Do you think i should wait until december? or study as hard as possible and take it next week and then take it in december if i dont do well?? will taking it in decemebr put me at a significant disadvantage as far as rolling admis. goes?

thanls

So it doesn't significantly decrease my chances? And are schollys possible?

Yes, it does decrease your chances for both admission and (in some cases) scholarship money, but not as much as a bad LSAT score decreases your chances.

Wait till December. The fact you have only taken one real PT at this point means you did not plan well at all. You need more time.

You will be waaay better off with a 160+ in Dec than a 15* in Oct.
