About to start applying....

Post by SuperCool23 » Mon Sep 24, 2012 1:35 pm

I'm in the process of studying for the LSAT (December test & Blueprint) and working on my application for fall2013. At the end of the semester I will have 3.41 GPA, plenty of softs and some work experience. I am president of my fraternity (D9), I’ve held numerous positions within it, I have community services, etc. Just to get an ideal what is the best LSAT score to get me into Vanderbilt, NYU, UCLA, Howard, Emory, and UT Austin? I wont be able to apply until jan 2013 because of lsat score.

The timing of your application will be on the early part of the late spectrum. Being URM, this may not put you in a worse position compared to some one that applied in September with similar numbers/race. My guess is to have a nice shot (60%+) you will need:

NYU 165
Vandy 162
UT- (Depends on residency) Non Resident- 162 resident maybe 155
UCLA- 162
Emory- 160
Howard----- Not sure
