I would retake LSAT a high 150 could make all the difference. But still won't hurt to apply you have 0 chance if you do not!

Same GPA and higher LSAT. I've been accepted to GW and rejected by both BC and GTown.

Best bet is to retake, I have already started studying for the June test.
Goodluck

AA male by the way

Thanks for the replies ...im thinking of retaking but this is my second score first was a 150 so Im trying to hold off on retaking to where if i have a horrible cycle ill just take june and have about 2-3 months to study and apply next cylce

I wouldn't mind ending up at howard which seems like a good bet with my numbers but i keep hearing conflicting opinions on howard's biglaw placement and job prospects in general which is kind of scary

Do yourself a favor and retake in June. Take a year off and find some work experience, it will only make you a stronger candidate.

June will be my 3rd attempt as well and by the time I matriculate I will have two years of work experience. I know waiting a year doesn't sound appealing but a higher score will do wonders.

TBH I never really considered applying/attending Howard. Some of the top firms recruit at Howard but according to the information I have gathered firms don't go deep into the class (maybe top 10-15%). At the end of the day it is a tier 3 school, and one can't expect to be top of the class at any law school.

I would say it depends on the quality of your softs and addendum. GW is known for accepting splitters. Not too sure about BC but I would say its probably a 50/50 chance. You are a diverse candidate with solid numbers and it could go either way. I always assume I'm not until the school informs me otherwise. That way I don' set myself up to be disappointed.
