Any chance or am I deluding myself?

Post by etizzle » Tue Nov 08, 2011 12:12 pm

Hello everybody! I've posted something similar to this about the T14 in the chances thread, but I was wondering if the URM thread might have any more insight. My stats are 3.50 and 167, and I'm Puerto Rican URM. I received fee waivers to columbia, michigan, penn, duke, and virginia so I'm obviously going to apply to them but do I stand a chance at them or any of the other top schools? I'm considering applying to Harvard, NYU, Chicago, and pretty much the rest of the T14, but I question whether I'd just be throwing money away at the T6 or so. Any replies greatly appreciated.

You should just apply. Maybe not Yale, but to the rest of them.

Blanket the T-14, especially the T-6. The PR bump is much bigger than you realize.
