3.43 MA

Post by paulshortys10 » Tue Oct 25, 2011 12:08 am

So Mexican, 3.43 gpa

I'm 100% retaking in Dec because I KNOW i can do better. I'm just wondering which schools could I apply to now that I would have a good shot at(mainly top 50). I definitely want to apply to a couple early now, and still retake with the hopes of a high 160's

ANY school in the Top 50? It's hard to give you advice when you have so many options.

I mean, I wouldn't bank on Yale but Florida State looks probable.

I believe you are in for sure at ASU/UA. My buddy got in last cycle at 3.6 with a 162, non-urm.

Like I said, I only want to apply to some of these schools as a backup with the hopes of getting a higher score in DEC.

I'm in a similar situation. Unfortunately it seems really hard to find information on numbers for Mexican-Americans. Our posts don't get much feedback, and even LSN doesn't have many applicants with our background.

We should take it upon ourselves to post our cycle on LSN and come back to this forum to give advice this time next year. The lack of information is quite unnerving.

I agree. Mexican-Americans applicants are very few.

I'm planning on applying to Hastings on the LEOP program, any chance that improves my chances on getting in?

Also, can i apply, and say i get rejected before DEC lsat, can i Reapply or appeal my decision with a new lsat score?

Admissions will take another look at your application every time there is an update, whether that's a new LSAT score or an updated transcript. So even if you're rejected, they will reconsider the new score.

So I cancelled my Dec test.

I've applied to about 25 schools, with only San D and Loyola being out of the t-50. What chances are you guys giving me at the t-50 schools?
