Three options

Post by ThatOneGirlinMO » Sat Apr 02, 2011 7:02 pm

Hello everyone:

I was pretty much set to go to WUSTL (went last week and LOVED it there), but I was accepted to Cornell on Thursday. This is turning into a really hard decision, not to mention that I can't shake the thought of Vandy as well. I want to practice in the Midwest, and my hope is to possibly enter academia someday down the line if it's possible. What do you all think?

Thanks for any advice and insight!

WUSTL.

1. You loved it there.
2. It's in the area you wish to practice upon completion.

Other than that, wait to see what Cornell offers you and try to visit. What's keeping Vandy in play?

+1. WUSTL seems credited if you definitely want to go to the Midwest. But if Cornell gives you money, I would change my opinion.

WashUStL is the best choice unless you receive substantial grant money from Cornell in which case you should visit before deciding.
