chicano, 4yr labor org/coordinator, 170, 2.7 - swap ps?

Hey,

Anyone interested in swapping personal statements? I already applied to most of my schools because they let you have longer personal statements (Boalt, Davis, Hastings, USC, UVA, Chicago, William and Mary and Georgetown). When I had 4 pages I felt I successfully weaved together my background, my explanation for my gpa (from an ivy), my work history and my motivation to be a lawyer.

Now I need to finish up my UCLA, stanford and northwestern apps and they have shorter statement requirements. I've been struggling for the past couple weeks and it just feels choppy, abrupt and as if i'm trying to say too much.

Would like to know if it does need help or if I'm just crazy.

q onda,

post it up and you'll get more responses -- just omit stuff that's sensitive.
