you don't need to include a separate DS but as you said your PS "mentions" the economic disadvantage. maybe expand on it?

if you think the PS covers it, cool, no need. but remember the DS is another opportunity for you to say something to adcom. this is an advantage that you have over lots of other people who 1) have nothing good to write about and effectively can't submit a decent DS or 2) have nothing good to write about and are too lazy

another thing is you don't have to say the same things. of course you are you and you have your story but you can approach the DS from a different angle. like "if you were to see me in your law school library, you wouldn't guess ..." yeah it's cheese but you get the idea.
