I think you would have to write at a 3rd grade level to not get into a T14. I do agree with ED'ing to your top choice is Columbia is as good as any.

I would strongly advise against applying ED to Columbia. You have an excellent chance there and at the rest of CCN without ED, and you also have solid chances at both Harvard and Stanford that you shouldn't pass up. There's honestly no reason to apply outside the T14 with your numbers, unless you're looking for substantial scholarship money. I say this as someone who applied last year with very similar stats to yours. Feel free to PM me if you need more guidance.

In addition to a good enough chance at schools better than columbia, you also have a shot at substantial money at NYU or lower. I would not edeskimogirl wrote:i've been reading this forum for a while but haven't really posted much. i'm getting ready to send out all my apps in the next few days and was hoping you guys could give me some idea of what my chances are at the schools i'm applying to.

Im not sure if columbia gives money to their ed applicants. But from the stats I have seen, columbia only gives money to people who would go to harvard otherwise. 4.0 180 s I think you will get money at NYU
