Re: What Should I do???
Dont put too much stock into fee waivers. Hunker down and retake in December. If Duke is your goal, study hard and do better than a 159.pattonthicke wrote:I've been reading the forum for a while and now I have a question. I took the Oct. LSAT (159) AA Male, 3.59 and originally planned to take it over. Today I received a bunch of fee waivers from schools including #1 choice duke. Based on LSN, I have minimal chance at duke. Is it something they like about me or should i be studying for the dec. lsat right now? I work tons of hours a day so i couldnt study and work on apps so if i do take it in dec. all my apps will be delayed till jan. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

I also got a fee waiver from Duke today. My GPA is 3.09 and 158 LSAT. I don't think I have a chance. Read my thread titled "how does a school decide to invite you to apply with a fee waiver?" Someone posted a good reason why they do this.

I got a fee waiver from Duke too. Due to AA male status, I probably have a good shot at getting in but I don't want to go.

Re: What Should I do???
With the OP's gpa and considering he's a aa male, what do you guys think would be a good LSAT score for him to get into Duke? Reason I am asking is because I have a similar gpa and Duke is one of the schools I am filling an application for. But I am not even sure it is worth the app fee because I didn't score too close within their normal range.

Should I admit I make mistakes? Should I tell you I've done this before?
