I haven't had much time to practice for the LSAT and I was scoring between 155 - 164 on the pts so my score didn't surprise me. I don't think re-taking the LSAT in Dec. will make much of a difference since there's not much study time left.
Where should I try applying? What schools would I have a good chance of getting in with a good financial aid package? I would prefer to stay in the west coast to be closer to my family. I'm banking on the diversity factor as I come from a low income family, first family member in college, speak 3 languages and learned one of them (Arabic) as an adult, and completed memorizing the whole Muslim holy book, the Qur'an, in its original Arabic. I made sure to highlight all of these things in my personal statements. Will they give me a boost?
I was eligible for a fee waiver so I'm going to comb through the t14 but the schools I am really thinking about are:
Boalt - dream school, is it a reach?
UCLA - dream school 2
Davis
Hastings
Arizona State
Any other schools I should apply to?

I thought OP already expressed that retaking will be difficult.

Cornell or retake. Boalt is a pretty longshot, but it could happen. I could see a school like UVa biting if you are interesting. You're just a few points short of really cleaning up. And California schools are less generous with the AA; UCLA would probably be quite difficult for that reason.

Thanks for the help everyone. I really considered retaking but like I said, I don't know if it will be worth it since I scored what I was averaging on the pts and don't have much time to study. I already knew my chances at Cal and UCLA were long shots but I just wanted to ask anyways
. How are my chances with Davis or Hastings? I was told I have a decent shot of getting in but will it be difficult getting some aid? Sorry about all the questions, a retake is definitely still something I am toying with in my mind but I am weary about how it will look if I scored the same or even lower.
