I'm hoping to get some kind of minority boost for being 1/2 Japanese 1/2 White, Jewish, and gay. I'll just call myself an Asian American male for now.
Two of the schools I'd like to get into are Boston College Law and Fordham, and a few other top 30s. I have a gpa of 3.24 and a recent LSAT score of 165. Supposing I get a URM boost and over two years of work experience, what do you suppose my chances are? Looking at the predictors, it appears that the T14 are inaccessible, but there are plenty of other decent possibilities.
Tentative list of schools:
BC
William and Mary
Fordham
UC Hastings (not too sure about the legal climate in CA right now...)
Notre Dame
UConn (this one is a safety)
Note: If I check URM when using the law school predictor I even have a "weak consider" at Northwestern and Virginia.
Thoughts?
*edited: changed AA to Asian American

I don’t know what you are asking? Are you an idiot or trying to be controversial?
Either way retake the lsat.
AA=/=Asian American

You're not a URM and you won't get a boost.

Re: Mixed Asian. Minority?
URM status is only for those of African, Native American, Puerto Rican, Mexican, and to lesser extent other Latino ancestry. You fit into none of these groups.downing wrote:I'm hoping to get some kind of minority boost for being 1/2 Japanese 1/2 White, Jewish, and gay. I'll just call myself an AA male for now.
